Continuing the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, the Indiana County Republican Committee will host its annual Fall Banquet on Thursday, October 22, at the Indiana Country Club.
Newly elected County Chairman Hunter Overdorff will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the first time, highlighting the committee’s accomplishments and looking ahead to Election Day on November 3.
Featured speaker J. D. Longo was elected the youngest mayor in the history of Slippery Rock Borough in 2017. When he assumed office, the borough was approximately $1 million in debt. By 2026, under Longo’s leadership, the borough is debt-free, accomplished without raising taxes.
Candidates for re-election, State Representatives Jim Struzzi (R-62) and Brian Smith (R-66), will also provide updates on their campaigns and the upcoming election.
The evening begins with social time at 6:00 p.m., followed by a sit-down dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Individual tickets are $40.00, with reserved tables of eight available for $300.00. Various sponsorship opportunities are also available.
